About Our Courses
Paynesville Neighbourhood Centre is a Learn Local, pre-accredited training provider.
Learn Local are not-for-profit community organisations registered and funded by the Victorian Government. Learn Local's wide range of courses are flexible and can be tailored specifically to suit your needs. Class sizes are often small, with training delivered by highly experienced professionals in a relaxed environment.
Enrolment Forms
- All students are required to complete an enrolment for their class.
- Online enrolments can be made by visiting the Courses page, select a class and follow the steps to complete your enrolment online.
- Alternatively, you can call into the office to complete a paper enrolment form.
Cancellations & Refunds policy
- We require a minimum number of enrolments in order to proceed with each course or workshop.
- If we cancel a course due to lack of numbers we will refund your course fees in full.
- If you withdraw up to 5 working days prior to course commencement, you will be entitled to a refund, less an administrative fee of $10.
- Once classes begin, refunds will not be given.
Paying for courses
- Enrolments are not confirmed until payment is made. We accept payments by cash or Bank Transfer.Please contact us and complete an enrolment. to ensure your place is reserved.
Concessions
- Concessions are available for Centrelink pension or benefit recipients. Please present your Pension or Health Care Card at enrolment. Victorian Seniors Card is not an eligible card.

Supporting Your Learning
Paynesville Neighbourhood Centre is a member of Wellington & East Gippsland Learn Locals.
We run training courses at many community locations, including remote areas within Gippsland. If you’d like us to come to you please make contact so we can help. Courses can be delivered through a variety of formats, including face to face and online classrooms.
Our training can support learners with their Workforce Australia mutual obligation requirements. Learn Local programs are “other government program” for mutual obligation (PBAS) – speak to your Employment Service Provider about an activity code.
